A 16-year-old boy from Richford has been charged with multiple counts of lewd and lascivious conduct and sexual assault for allegedly molesting five females between the ages of 9 and 14, said detectives from the Northwest Unit for Special Investigations.
Detectives said their investigation began when the father of the 14-year-old girl reported that Kyle R. Lesage had molested his daughter. The investigation later revealed that the man’s daughter and another 13-year-old girl had been touched inappropriately several times while riding the school bus. Further investigation has revealed that three other female victims, ages 9, 12 and 13, were inappropriately touched, either at the homes of the victims or at Lesage’s residence, said detectives.
Kyle R. Lesage has been charged in Vermont District Court in St. Albans with four counts of lewd and lascivious conduct and two counts of sexual assault. The Northwest Unit for Special Investigations, in St. Albans, investigates and prosecutes cases of sexual assault and child physical or sexual abuse.
